he was stranded 使处于困境 in the middle of a station with a trunk he could hardly lift, a pocket full of wizard money, and a large owl
gangling (tall and skinny)
jostle推挤

you behave yourselves 管好自己
look after照顾

ever so非常    以后写作不用very了

He was ever so polite when he asked how to get onto the platform."
Stern
Their mother suddenly became very stern
keep your hair on keep calm and not over-react or get angry
Fred and George mess around a lot, but they still get really good marks and everyone thinks they're really funny.
it's no big deal
Starving

She had a bossy sort of voice, lots of bushy brown hair, and rather large front teeth.
dazed (confuse; shock).
"Am I?" said Harry, feeling dazed (confuse; shock).

He flopped back into his seat, looking depressed.
dumbfounded (stunned, taken aback)
"What!" Ron looked dumbfounded (stunned, taken aback).

Both of them were thickset壮实 and looked extremely mean.
scowl at 怒视

The table second from the left clapped this time             这两句主要是写欢迎的

5、A scarlet steam engine was waiting next to a platform packed with people.        充满了人可以用be packed with

6、Smoke from the engine drifted over the heads of the chattering crowd。

7、gawked at, a voice came floating in through the train's open door.

8、Harry saw the boys' mother waving and their sister, half laughing, half crying, running to keep up with the train until it gathered too much speed, then she fell back and waved.      谁给我说说这句最后的she fell back and waved.
                                                                                                     gathered too much speed速度快

9、The countryside now flying past the window was becoming wilder. The neat fields had gone.
He kept his eyes fixed on the door.                flying past the window

4、hen everyone had eaten as much as they could, the remains of the food faded from the plates, leaving them sparkling clean as before.                       fade 和spark 这两个词

6、Harder to shake off was the feeling Harry had gotten from the teacher's look — a feeling that he didn't like Harry at all.

 1) here, there, now, then, thus等副词置于句首, 谓语动词常用be, come, go, lie, run。
  There goes the bell.
  Then came the chairman.
  Here is your letter.

Out rushed a missile from under the bomber.
  Ahead sat an old woman.

Here he comes. Away they went.

 1) 句首为否定或半否定的词语,如no, not, never, seldom, little, hardly, at no time, in no way, not until… 等。
Never have I seen such a performance.
Nowhere will you find the answer to this question.
Not until the child fell asleep did the mother leave the room.

I have never seen such a performance.
The mother didn't leave the room until the child fell asleep.

Not only…but also, Hardly/Scarcely…when, No sooner… than
Not only did he refuse the gift, he also severely criticized the sender.
Hardly had she gone out when a student came to visit her.
No sooner had she gone out than a student came to visit her

14.4 so, neither, nor

Tom can speak French. So can Jack.
If you won't go, neither will I.

Only in this way, can you learn English well.
Only after being asked three times did he come to the meeting.
Only when he is seriously ill, does he ever stay in bed.
14.6 as, though

Try hard as he will, he never seems able to do the work satisfactorily.

1) so… that 句型中的so 位于句首时,需倒装。
So frightened was he that he did not dare to move an inch.

  May you all be happy.

Were I you, I would try it again.

7、A loud, rude sound, like the air being let out of a balloon, answered.

8、His eyes were black like Hagrid's, but they had none of Hagrid's warmth. They were cold and empty and made you think of dark tunnels.

9、More silence followed this little speech     fellow这个动词用的 把原来我们用要there be 换成了一个实实在在的动词
