today i want to talk about the CTLgold rush of the 1858,which began when gold was discovered in F town of CF,in the canadian province of BC.by 1861.thousands of men have (flocked) to the region and hoping to struggle (strike) it rich.naturally as the town grew, supplies had be brought in,and  (this was done with mules).now the mules were quiet reliable but there were some drawbacks:for example , a mule carrying a heavy load could travel only 50 miles in a day.meaning that a typical trip in(into) C could take as long as 20 days .so as demand for supplies contined to grow.a group of merchants and (packers) decided to try a new approach.believe it or not ,they shipped in a herd of camels.i know that sound (sounds)strange but  camel trains  had been used quiet effectively during the C gold rush some ten years earlier.but the result in the C region wasn't quiet the same.in fact, it's a disaster, the camels couldn't carry the heavier load that the merchants expected them to .there two told (their two-toed feet) were perfect for the desert travel.but they weren't suit for C regular(rugged)mountain (terrain).to make matters worse, the mules became very edutated(agitated)  when(whenever) they came acrossed a camel  and that coused a lot of accidents on the treasurious(treacherous) mountain travel(trail).the mule packers went so far as to threatened the camel owners with the lost suit(lawsuit).but the reason of the merchants finally got rid of the camels,is beacause these animals simply weren't cut out for the job.

today we are going to continue our discussion of modern art.and talk about CS.CS has (been a part of ) many art movements.his(he's ) worked in pop art (cubism) and (conceptual art ).but he made his mark as a pioneer in computer art.even long before computer became popular. he was( puntching )cards and then feeding them into  the big mainframe computer in the O state University.in the begining he had to work without a model(monitor).so he was virtually creating the art in the dark.he even learnt computer programming.so he could experiment with this new tool.through the computer,S has been able to explore a new world of possibilities.for example , the computer enabled him to sculpt in three dimention.also he can see the sculpture from any angel(angle) and move it around and change the location of the light source.or he could copy them in different colors.over the years,S recieved (numerous grants) for various projects.this money allowed him to train students in computer graphics and animation techniques.and to advance the computer as a medium for artisits.even though he uses modern technology ,S still says (insists in )he is creating art .he has always told his students to keep the issues of art on(in) focus.and not get  so(caught up ) in the technology that you forgot(forget) about the image.

2
been a part of
5
punching cards and feeding them into the big mianframe computer
