Topic: It has been said,"Not everything that is learned is contained in books." Compare and contrast knowledge gained from experience with knowledge gained from books. In your opinion, which source is more important. Why?

Since this era is charactrized by the explosion of information, each of us, no matter old or young, is expected to gain knowledge to keep pace with the world. The two ways of learning, from books and from experience, therefore have caused comparison and debate. From my point of view, knowledge gained from experience is more valuable.

We should grant the importance of books. They lead us to the entrance of the world of knowledge. Their words, illustrations, briefly and clearly explain the truth in the world. With books' help,we can easily acknowledge the essence of many theories summarized by scientists after decades of hard word. However, included in the books are only basic rules and abstract concepts, more knowledge are to be explored in practical exercise and experience.

All the knowledge we get from books was primarily confirmed by practice. Any supposition, no matter how elaborated it is, only after experience's illustration can it become a theory. Furthermore, we cannot even ensure what is written in books is true. People believed with no doubt and wrote it in books that the earth is flat long ago. Especially with nowadays fast developing technology, knowledge become out-dated only after being printed into words. To exam our doubts and to get the new, we should devote ourselves to practice.

Knowledge gained from experience covers a wider range. You will never know what apples taste until you eat one. Most technology ask for proficiency after long time's exercise. It can be given a concrete example that when employ drivers, we usually prefer one with more years of driving experience, for he or she may know what to do under all kinds of circumstances. In addition, knowledge from practice is the extension of that from books. Books tell us concepts and formulas, thus practice teach us how to apply them.

What is more, knowledge from experience makes our world develop. All the inventions are inventede after numerous tests. All the new theories are suggested after suspecious thinking of written words. There is much to be explored after practice.

Books record ancestors' understanding, while experience reveals what life is really like.It is knowledge from experience that is more important in the evolution of human beings.

1,However, included in the books are only basic rules and abstract concepts, more knowledge are to be explored in practical exercise and experience.
2,Any supposition, no matter how elaborated it is, only after experience's illustration can it become a theory.
Any supposition only after experience's illustration can it become a theory.
Any supposition it can become a theory.
3,You will never know what apples taste until you eat one.
看看这句:what apples taste。
They will say: "what do apples taste like?"
You will never know what apples taste like until you eat one.
