It is needless to say that everyone confronted tough problems in its life, and different people have diverse problem-solving approaches according to their dispositions. As far as I am concerned, I have three steps to overcome problems as well as handicaps------- gathering and classifying information, figuring out possible solutions, and endeavoring through one solution after choosing it.
In face of serious problems, I often begin with gathering together with classifying information. As the saying goes, “we fear because we do not know”. Information is the essential material on which we could base to make judicious decisions. If people decide without enough persuasive information, the situation at last will tend to deviate far beyond people’s anticipation. Having finished gathering information, I pick out the important and discard the useless. Too much information in chaos also is going to confuse people and lead to horrible outcomes.
Second, it is time to analyze situations. Based on the key information above, I should figure out my advantages and disadvantages while dealing with the problem. Usually, a couple of possible solutions would come up. Then, I calculate possibility of success, the worst and best outcome, and my abilities required in this solution.
Finally, I need to choose the fittest solution and strive diligently to get the problem done. In this case, it is not which solution you chose but how hard you try that matters. People always complained with words like “if I were”, or “I could have” when they are not satisfactory with the results. However, in my opinion, it is because of their lacking of resolution that got them into troubles. My motto is, “there is not perfect solution, unless you try your best”. So, after I chose a plausible solution, I will utilize the best I own to solve the problem.

自己觉得的缺点：单词句型单一，欠一精彩例子 楼主行文流畅，逻辑清楚，词汇比较多变，努力下去一定没有问题。建议把一些主动句改被动。
比如：If people decide without enough persuasive information,
可以改成：If a decision is made without enough persuasive information,
第一句，强调每个人都克服过困难，建议用完成时：
everyone has confronted tough problems in his life. ( 不是 its )
