是这样的...这个Survey的确是过去时....但是 他发现的是一个定律....就是不会改变的事实....
给你举个例子:In 1936, XXX found out that that the earth runs around the sun."Earth runs around the sun" 是个定律...而且不会改变 所以这里用runs

真理我也知道是不受时间限制，但一个survey也能和真理一样？还是有一些特定的单词要用一般时态？麻烦再给讲一下！谢谢！:)

At least the result has not been proven wrong yet.... so we will still consider it a truth.....

我觉得这里不是因为内容是真理才不改变时态
地球饶太阳转的那个例子是典型的真理不改变时态
这里应该是说 “美国工人希望收入上涨速度赶上物价上涨速度” 这个动作代表了这一段时间以来的一个一般性的动作
它可能是从过去不久的一个时间持续到现在` 并有可能再继续持续一段时间
因此把它看做是个一般状态下的动作 用一般现在时表现
不知道说得对不对 个人感觉
一般现在时经常可以表现其他的时态
比如 If it rains tomorrow,I will stay at home.
if 引导的从句部分`就用一般现在时表示将来时

indicated 后的从句应该用虚拟，把should省了才出现这种情况。
