In the lecture, the professor has completely different ideas on the topic made in the passage. It is said in the lecture that no food has super power because of lacking scientific evidence. However, in the passage, the author believes that the food which has super power gives people more energy and greater protection against disease.

The first point that the professor uses to cast doubt on the reading is about whether this super power food can be used in people. According to the professor, the supper power food only can be conducted in animals such as rat and mice, and it doesn’t have the same result when using in human. This directly contradicts what the passage indicates that study on blueberries shows that they have a positive effect on brain function and motor movement in aging rat.

Secondly, the passage says that the antioxidants in broccoli and cabbage help prevent the colon cancer. Contrary to the belief of the passage, the professor claims that this evidence is misleading. He put an example to say that it is good to eat these vegetable because they have nutrient, but it doesn’t mean that eating these foods can prevent cancer. Actually, they may have some effect that preventing cancer, the scientists have not demonstrated.

Finally, the lecture totally disagree with the view make in the reading that eating tomato can helps to lower cholesterol. The professor points out the fact when eat this kind of food 3 months, the cholesterol has lowed, but experiments show that the cholesterol will get high again after eating 6 months. It can show that this idea lack of scientific evidence.

The lecture is mainly discussing that some thing new had been found in the research of the Altruism which is  challenging what are stated in the reading passage that Altruism is a behavior that animal sacrifices its own for other animals.
　　First of all, the passage says that in a group of meerkat , an individual always standing guard and looking out for predators while others eat food they have obtained. And it get nothing to eat. In contrast, the speaker believes that the guard doing this because it has ate before and full of stomach. So, the lecture totally disagrees with the view made in the reading.
　　Second, the passage discusses the guard of meerkat places itself in danger. When the predator comes it has to flee alone, which might make it more at risk to predator.  Contradicting what is stated by the speak is that after it issues an alarm, it might run much quickly, the group attract the attention of predator, it has more chances to survive..
　　Finally, the speakers raises the issue that in human , someone sacrifices to others eventually obtain award form others or the whole society. This point disagrees that human is also have the behavior of Altruism which demonstrated in the reading.
　　So, the contents in the reading passage are totally jeopardized by the speaker and the speaker has totally different ideas on the topics made in the read
