According to a recent statistic on the internet, there are about 68 percent high schools’ graduates want to receive university education. They attribute their choice to the reason that attending universities allow them to gain more knowledge and this may make them more successful in the future. Some people insist on knowledge gained from books are more important. However, others hold the opinion that it's more significant to obtain knowledge from experience since it can help them deal with practical problems. As far as I am concerned, I completely agree with the former idea.

One of the most significant points of knowledge obtained from books is that people can gain the more knowledge. As we all know, with the development of technology, it's quite easy to manufacture large quantity of books within a short time, yet in very low price. Students can conveniently get various subjects of books, such as chemistry, physics, biology, architecture literature and so on. Also, those books are classified into different levels, both junior and senior students can get the books which they are able to understand, this allows them gain the knowledge gradually, in other words, systemically. If students study with plenty of appropriate books they may certainly get more overall knowledge. Moreover, they can also learn some interesting knowledge just for relax since the choices of book are pretty widely.

On the other hand, it's far more convenient for people to learn something from books than from experience. First of all, people can take books with them to anywhere, buses, cafes, restaurants even playgrounds! Whenever they like they can open the books and read them, however, when people want to gain knowledge from experience they must go some specific place to go trough the experience. For example, if students want to accumulate some knowledge via working experience they may need to do an internship in a cafeteria, but the problem is that they may don't have time to do it. In addition, people can review the knowledge in books frequently for the reason that those materials are visible, on the contrary, people can never read of listen the knowledge in experience since they are not substance at all! At last, in respect that different people certainly have various experiences, there isn't any ultimate way to determine whether those experiences can result in useful knowledge or not.
Each coin has two sides, knowledge obtained from experience does have some benefits, especially when people consider that these knowledge can help them deal with some emergencies that not mentioned in books. However, never will I agree it can compare to the advantages brought by books. From what has been discussed above, we may safely draw the conclusion that knowledge gained from books is more important.
