第一次写托福作文～ 感觉文章的逻辑性和论证的严密性很难把握！
特别是拓展段落实在头疼！

[font=Times New Roman][size=4][size=12pt]21st century witnesses the widespread of English as a global language along with the development of process of globalization. And learning English is ,currently, unprecedentedly visible in many [/size][size=12pt]non-English speaking countries. However,[/size][size=12pt]will the advantage of spread of the English outweigh the disadvantage? As for me, I side with the point of view. The following reasons may shed light upon my choice.[/size][/size][/font]
[size=12pt][font=Times New Roman][size=4][/size][/font][/size]
[size=4][font=Times New Roman][size=12pt]To begin with, [/size][size=12pt]increased spread of a single language facilitates easier communication across cultures, and allows smaller nations to access the advanced knowledge and technology of developed nations to spark national economic activity. It is because that without language barrier,[/size]
[size=12pt]communication and trade can become easier and more efficient with different people all speaking English. Meanwhlile, learning English is a way of absorption of foreign culture and knowledge through reading [/size][size=12pt]English original books.[/size][size=12pt] A recent survey conducted by New York Times indicated that [/size][size=12pt]with the wide dissemination of English, domestic capital has increasd by 30 billion in the Asian region by 2008. In view of this, it is evident that local economy is improved considerably. As Lei Yining[/size][/font][font=宋体][size=12pt]，[/size][/font][font=Times New Roman][size=12pt]one of the [/size][size=12pt][color=windowtext]illustrious [/color][/size][size=12pt]Chinese economists, has put it:Not only does language itself promote global interaction but brings economic benefits.

[/size][/font][/size][font=Times New Roman][size=4][size=12pt]Besides, we, the students in [/size][size=12pt]non-English speaking countries[/size][size=12pt], can pursue the further studys which enable us to broaden our horizon and refresh our minds abroad in many developed English-speaking nations thanks to the popularity of English. It is because that English languge boom stems from a varity of tests[color=#416d96]:[/color]IELTS, TOEFL,GRE,SAT and so on. Passing the series of tests, we will embrace the golden opportunity to study abroad and equip ourselves. As a result, we go to better universities or colleges. Eventually, we will have better jobs and higher incomes. In contrast, we will fail to take any international English tests without English popularization. And then we will be refused permission to enter foreign universities or colleges.[/size][/size][/font]
[size=12pt][font=Times New Roman][size=4][/size][/font][/size]
[size=4][font=Times New Roman][size=12pt]Conversly ,there is no denying that the [/size][size=12pt]dissemination[/size][size=12pt] of the English language may, to some degree, bring detrimental effects. One of the obvious disadvantages is that English language boom exerts the impact on domestic culture. It is universally known that language is the envoy of propagating culture. Meanwhile ,the prevalence of a culture is bound to bring [/size][size=12pt]suppression of another culture.[/size][/font]
[font=Times New Roman][size=12pt]Accordingly, English language inevitably assaults native traditional culture in non-english speaking countries.[/size][size=12pt][/size][/font][/size]
[size=12pt][font=Times New Roman][size=4][/size][/font][/size]
[size=4][size=12pt][font=Times New Roman]As is demonstrated all above[/font][/size][font=宋体][size=12pt]，[/size][/font][size=12pt][font=Times New Roman]though the popularity of the English language has its own shortcomes, I believe that the advantages outweigh disadvantages. Taking the duality into account, we should learn to balance pros and cons. Meanwhile ,we ought to show a positive attitude towards the phenomenon.[/font][/size][/size]

观点: we have learent to expect that   English as a global language will help us .most of  us hve developed an unshakable faith in studying  well english. as a global language ,even  sometimes  english  can  be  monotonous   and colorless  because of    many people using , i could not help saying that i agree the opinion.
