第一次作文,不知算不算走题
Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Television, newspapers, magazines, and other media pay too much attention to the personal lives of famous people such as public figures and celebrities. Use specific reasons and details to explain your opinion.
Is it true that too much attention be paid to the personal lives of famous people by television, newspapers, magazines, and other media? As far as I am concerned, it is not true. Among various reasons and facts that can strengthen my point, I will choose the most three conspicuous and consequencious aspects as follows.
The first plain truth, I am presenting here, is that some media pay attention to the personal lives of celebreties to cater for the mass. With the development of the media, a person can find it easyto know something about the celebrety who is her/his idole. They will buy books written by the famous people, read stories about the celebreties, even imitate the behavior and life style of their idol. The more things about personal lives of famous people are, the more newspaper is sold. Convinced of this rule, other media put attention to the personal lives, and get back more and more readers or audience. It is obvious that the people's curiosities force media pay attention to the personal lives of famous people.
In addion, behind the first aspect there lies an equally important reason is that media do this to get more money. Money is one of the keywords in our time and it is hard to find an area cannot trace back to money in some way. Statistical reports from Hongkong demonstrated that prints or TV programmes including personal lives of famous people get more money than those do not include.Accordingly, so great is media's passion for money, that they are becoming more and more willing to report personal lives of celebrity. For example, one media has firstly reported anecdote of the celebrity in one day, and they found their prints sales raised sharply. So the media want to make more profits by paying attention to personal lives of famous people.
Last but not least, media pay attention to the person lives of famous people in order to supervise them and help them. They will commit mistakes as general people do but they will be not aware
of their faults. Media has the right and duty to supervise the famous people and report the real side of the personal lives of famous people. Only in this way, can we believe the media and rely on media.
In conclusion, it is true that television, newspapers, and other media pay attention to the personal lives of famous people. But we can not say that they put too much attention to personal lives of celebrities considering the media's sake and function.
我是写道结论时才发现题干中是too much attention, 一开始我是按agree pay attention to..写的,后来发现是too much ,时间已不够用,就把意见改成disagree, 请教老师这样看来这篇文章还有救马?
