This expression not only explains the reason why Jordan become "God playing as Michael Jordan" but also reveals the truth that only getting help from others can guarantee success. Without the help from Dennis Rodman, Scottie Pippen, Steve Kerr and Phil Jackson, Jordan would be another Kobe Bryant who fumes mad once provoked, making him score like hell but leading his team sulking back in the dugout after the imminent failure. In a society that is globalized, competitive and full of information, getting the help with others would not be a choice but a prerequisite for professional success and social development. Indeed, it is time to end the myth about individualistic heroism and egoism.[/size][/font]

[font=Times New Roman][size=5]For one thing, one cannot survive in the society without help from other people, not to mention developing and expanding. In the past, individual talent may be enough for someone to procure personal success. In today's highly diversified society, however, teamwork instead is the crucial element for any individual or organization success. For example, no matter how smart or incisive one might be, he or she must need not only inside assistances from financial, marketing, R&D and manufacture departments but also from outside supports from government, community, public organization and other companies to become an entrepreneur to operate a company. Although mere help from others does not guarantee career success, it is hard to imagine how certain successful man could handle those procedures and stuffs only by himself. Therefore, no such person as a self-made man exists in the today's society. [/size]

[size=5]For another, the application of science and technology to change our society should led by the help from each other since the knowledge  becomes more and more diversified than ever before. Collaboration has played an important role both in the discovery process and in problem solving. For example, biologists may need help from chemists. Astronomers may need help from physicists. Such cases can be seen everywhere in scientific area. Scientific organizations are facilitating communication among their members, and scientists around the world are sharing their experiment data and expertise experience via e-mail. It is becoming not only likely that scientists will help each other, but also inexcusable if they don't. By pooling their knowledge and experience, scientists can accomplish much more than either of them could separately. Therefore, the society does benefit from such collaboration.[/size]

[size=5]In conclusion, just as Henry Ford said "Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success”, we do need help from others. Individually, we are one drop. Together, we are an ocean.[/size][/font]

[font=宋体][size=14pt]我个人之前练过[/size][/font][size=14pt][font=Times New Roman]7[/font][/size][font=宋体][size=14pt]、[/size][/font][size=14pt][font=Times New Roman]8[/font][/size][font=宋体][size=14pt]篇不限时的，每次写前做大量的准备工作，查看有关网页，积累观点、词汇等，再动笔，写上个一两个小时，自我感觉良好。但当开始试着限时写时感觉完全是两种概念，一紧张什么都顾不上了，什么好词好表达全反应不出来。我觉得一方面是因为写作经验少，没有形成自己的写作习惯和风格，另一方面不限时写作同时辅助其它资料及词霸往往隐藏了大部分写作的弱点，以为自己行了，实际上差得很远，反而先限时再改容易暴露不足并激励自己。不知大家意见如何？[/size][/font][size=14pt][/size]

这篇是限时写的，简直残不忍睹，都快不好意思拿出手了，不过这才是反映的最真实情况：（
There is an old saying that "one plus one more than two", which states that people work together is better than work alone. However, some people hold opposite opion on this. They claim that working alone is a more efficient way, especially when it comes to creative work. As far as I am concerd, I totally agree with the former.

It goes without saying that working group which consists of several people have more chance to make comprehensive and creative idea. The main reason why I state on this is team working make brainstorming possible. It is a popular way throughout the world these days that people with different professional background sitting together talk about a certain project and provide their own opinion on this. Usually, by this way, people can consider in a more comprehensive way which gurantee the more creative and correct result.

What is more, working together is a better way to share risk. If a hard work is completed by individual, s/he may worry about whether or not s/he can afford the failure for an adventure desicion. Therefore, the decision may relatively conservative to aviod taking risk. However, when people working in a team, they share the responsible and risk together, which will give them brave and motivation to challenge something difficult.

As every coins have two sides, I have to commit that working together sometimes will bring troubles, such as time-consuming, hard to make a consensus, transfer responsibility to other coworkers. All of these disadvantages can be avoided by working alone. Furthermore, working alone is more freely and will not be disturbed by other people or affairs. But the main disadvantages of it is lack of communication and limit of knowledge and experience.

To sum up, though working with people has some minor disadvantages, I still support this working way. Not only because it provide more chance to succeed, but also a ideal way to get a more creative result.

It goes without saying that people working in groups provide enlarged and comprehensive knowledge data base and networking since participants may come from different fields. Thus, they can not only come up with rational solution, but also implement the project efficiently. According to a recent survey, about 74% companies in the United States hold meeting at least once for brainstorming before they start a project, for the reason that they believe this is one of the most effective ways to set up plans or find a solution.

Furthermore, working together can share risks and relieve pressure for members in the group. For someone who works individually, s/he may worry about the result: if the work fails to be completed successfully, whether or not s/he can afford the failure. Consequently, in most cases, his/her decision may relatively conservative so as to avoid taking possible risks. However, in a working team all the members work as a whole. They face problems together and share potential adventures together; none individuals would be responsible for mistak alone. This provides them with more braveness and motivation to challenge apex.

However, every coin has two sides. I have to commit that team working sometimes induces troubles, or even undermines working process. One of the obvious shortcomings is time-consuming--people have to spend more time to discuss. Sometimes it is a tough time to convince others and reach a consensus. Moreover, working together makes it possible for some people to shift their own responsibility for other co-workers.

To sum up, though working with people has some disadvantages, I still support this working pattern, not only because it is an efficient way to handle problems, but also because it is an ideal way to achieve further advance.

Working alone or working with other people has long been an issue debated both in the public and private sectors.  Some people argue that because every work needs concentration, only working alone can you have the chance show your distinct talent.

However, a recent reserch by Hong Kong University reveals that the number of people who prefer to work in group is much larger than those who perfer working alone, approximately three to one. I am not a total believer in data, but I believe data do tell truth this time. That is, it would be better to work in group.

People can share their ideas and learn from each other through group work. Everyone is a different individual and every person has s/his advantages. Working together provides people a good chance to learn from others. For example, I know little about hotel. Two years ago, a girl from Holiday Inn began working with me. So she told me much about hotels. And now I know much about hotels, such as the size of bed, the requirement of elevator and even the dimension fo the TV screen in a five star hotel’s! You can guess how confidential now I am when I discuss about hotels. Obviously, everyone knows more through working together.

Working in group makes it possible to let everyone to do what s/he is good at. For instance, as to a project of marketing plan, the one who are good at mathmatics should calculate the data, the one who are familiar at words shoud writh the essay, the one who are excel at writing should design a beautiful cover. Consequently, working together will be much efficient.

Although there are still some people who prefer working alone, but under most circunstances, working together will help everyone in the group know more and it can also make our work more efficient. Therefore, if it were me, I will select working together immediately.[/size]
