[font=Times New Roman]A university plans to develop a new research center in your country. Some people want a center for business research. Other people want a center for research in agriculture (farming). Which of these two kinds of research centers do you recommend for your country? Use specific reasons in your recommendation.[/font]

[font=Times New Roman]An agricultural research center urged[/font]

[font=Times New Roman]Though some people want a business research center, and a center for business research may indeed trigger tremendous wealth. However, under the current international environment of food crisis, I would recommend to construct a research center for agriculture research, which seldom agencies and personages would fix their eyes on.[/font]
[font=Times New Roman][/font]
[font=Times New Roman]I have to admit that a business research center would, to some extent, help to promote business development, and someone may benefit a lot from to it. However, as for as I know, business is a domain that a lot of social agencies and individuals would investigate to research of their own free will. And that’s not the case for agricultural research, because research on agriculture is not that profitable. In one word, an agricultural research center would be needy than a center for business research. I have the following reasons to support my idea.[/font]

[font=Times New Roman]The first and the most important is that our country is in urgent need of more food. Nowadays, food crisis are sweeping across the world and food price is mounting, Lack of food and high food price would make the society turbulent. Since our country is a nation with 1.3billion people, food problem would be serious if we don’t take measures early. In such kind of situation, an agricultural research center is much more urgent than any other kind. [/font]
[font=Times New Roman][/font]
[font=Times New Roman]The second reason is that agriculture, relatively less profitable, can hardly attract agencies and individuals to investigate in it. Since business has more opportunities for development due to its characteristic of high profitability, we should grasp every chance to promote agriculture in the country. A research center for agricultural research would absorb a lot of government financial and attract abundant social attention, which would attract more people to devote themselves to agriculture and would do a lot of good to farming development.[/font]

[font=Times New Roman]Besides the two main reasons above, there are still some other reasons. Such as benefiting more people since most of the people in my country are peasants, promote development in other domains and so on. Therefore, I strongly support an agricultural research center.[/font]

Not only because cooking is my hobby, but also because it will do good to my health. Besides, if I was able to cook, I would serve friends at home and promote our friendship. [/font]

[font=Times New Roman]I choose cooking as the subject I most want to learn mainly because I like it. Even though I often envy other people of their ability to cook, I have not got a chance to learn it myself. I still remember that when I was in senior middle school, once my aunt promised me to teach me cooking, however, it was postponed until now because she then went abroad after two days he promised me. When I entered the university and live in campus dormitory, where cooking is not permitted for the sake of safety. I often dream that I am cooking in the kitchen, and the kitchen is filled with fragrance of the delicious dishes I have prepared. So, there is no doubt that cooking would be my first choice. [/font]

[font=Times New Roman]Though hobby is the main reason that propels me to choose cooking as the subject I most want to learn, there is still another important reason, the benefit for my health. Recently, I am a little malnourished. My head often hurts simply because I eat junk food in fast food restaurant everyday. That would not be the case if I was able to cook and provide my body with enough nutrition. If I could daily prepare nutritious dinner for myself I would have a strong body and I would work with high efficiency.[/font]
[font=Times New Roman] [/font]
[font=Times New Roman]I like cooking so much and I would have good body if I could cook for myself everyday. Besides, with the cooking ability, I could invite a lot of friends to my home and serve them a dinner. In such happy atmosphere, we would talk more heartedly than in the restaurant or those coffee shops where we are always surrounded with lots of people and often disturbed by those waiters. Self-prepared dinner would do much good to promote relationships between my friends and me, turning acquaintances into friends and making close friends much closer. [/font]
[font=Times New Roman][/font]
[font=Times New Roman]Since cooking is not only my hobby, but also can strengthen my body, I can not be too eager to learn it. With the cooking ability, I would be able to serve my friends with dishes prepared by myself. In a word, I would choose cooking as the subject to learn without any hesitation if I am given that chance. [/font]
