Topic:你认为接下来20年汽车的使用会不会减少。

Fewer issues in manufacturing industry could be more contravatial these days than whether the number of cars will decrease in the next two decades. A large number of people hold the point that there would be a tendency that fewer and fewer cars will be in existence because of the growing public concern of environment. However, the information I have collected leads me to believe that instead of decresing the number of cars will keep increasing steadily due to the developments of economic and innovation in automobile industry.

Admittedly, traditional cars which are widely used today have caused enormous pollutions in cites. Consequently, quiet a few people tend to live under the illusion that the modern people who place more and more emphasis on environment would gradually abandon cars and choose other transportation tools. They keep on talking cars are polluting our cities by producing serious air pollutions and noisy pollutions. However, they fail to mention few people can do without cars in the contemporary world. In fact, the improvement of transportation facilities and development of technology have made it more attractive for people to buy cars.  

First of all, it is indisputable that governments all around the world are taking strong measures to improve transportation system to make it more convenient to use cars as transportation tools.  As universally accepted, city governments have invest a huge amount of money not only in building a large number of new roads but also in expanding existing roads which contribute a lot to solving the problem of traffic jams. Moreover, central governments spare no effort in constructing more speedways to connect every major city with other cities. In view of all those measures taken, it makes sense that more people are eager to buy cars whenever they can afford the expenses.

In addition, it is undeniable that there is a tendency that the advanced techno ledge in automobile industry will dramatically reduce the pollution from cars in the next twenty years. Though automobile engineers have not find an efficient and economic method to resolve the problem of pollution caused by traditional cars which use oil as fuel, the advent of advanced electric motors, solar energy motors and various kinds of biology fuels do serve as a compelling evidence that humans are making striking efforts to overcome the problem. As is well known to all, nor is the science without its moments of creating miracles. Those who oppose cars will convert their minds as long as they realize the power of technology.

From what has been analyzed above, we may safely come to the conclusion that although cars cause some problems, there still exists a great demand for cars and the number of cars will not decrease in the next two decades.
