I wasn't aware of anything when the earthquake happened until my mother called me.
And I knew it worked after the radio stated this Catastrophe.
Best wishes to the fellow sufferer..

When the quake happened, I was having a nap and didn't realize that there was such a severe disaster approaching.

Wen chuan quake just happened after the day when I came back to chengdu from the Mounts Emei and Leshan. I was experiencing the terrible 5 minutes' quake moment in Chengdu. I felt the ground under my feet moving violently when I typed my English assignment on the computer in my dorm. At the first beging, I didn't believe what was happening to me. But when I assured all the things in my dorm were moving and shaking, a subconsciousness occured to me--this was an earthquake, so I graped the key and bag, rushing out of my dorm. All students were rushing with terror to the open air. Everywhere we were scattering outside. This was the first time when I experienced the real earthquake by myself. Before this I just watched on TV some quakes news that happened in other place and feel those catastrophies far away from me, but now I have another outlook about the precious life after 512 Quake. Now what I hope is that we can do sth to help those people in stricken area out and let them rebuild their homes, leading back to normal life soon.

The time I realized the earthquake happening was so late...Everything had been in a mess in Wenchuan. At that moment, the first time I felt that i'am just a normal person, what i can do seemed so weak to the suffurers, only to pray with cross...
