In warm blooded animals birds and mammals哺乳动物,For example, the body temperature normally stays within a narrow狭窄的, 有限的range山脉, 范围, no matter what the outside temperature is, as a result, a warm blooded animals is usually active in both cold and hot weather. Because its body temperature can adjust调节;校正to the temperature of its environment环境, 围绕. On the other hand, cold blooded animals ,such as most reptiles 爬虫动物 amphibians两栖动物and insect昆虫 are unable to create创造; 设计enough heat热, 高潮internally内部地; 国内地 to raise their temperature above the temperature of the environment. So for example, the temperature of a cold blooded animal fails when the environment is cool, I hope this distinction区别;级别is clear ,Now moving on to Tyrannosaurus rex you may know that dinosaurs恐龙being reptiles, are generally believed to had been cold blooded . Well a recent this research study found that the chemical composition of the bones of Tyrannosaurus rex was consistent一致的with the bones of an animals that has a very narrow range of internal temperature .               In today’s class, we’ll be examining some 19 century pattern样品, 样本 books, there were used for building houses, I think it’s fair公正地; 清楚地 to say that there be the pattern books was the most important influence影响; 改变on the design of North American houses during the 19 century.

This was because most people who wanted to built a house couldn’t afford to hire雇请; 出租the architect 建筑学家. Instead they bought a pattern book, pick out a plane and took it to the builder .The difference in coat was substantial实质上的.In 1870 ,for example, hiring an architect would’ve coat about a hundred dollars. At the same time, a pattern book written by an architect, cost only five dollars. At that price, it’s easy to see why pattern books were so popular. Some are back in print印, 印刷again today, and of course they cost a lot more than they did a hundred years ago.              Last week we talked about Anne Bradstreet, and the role角色of women in the colonies殖民地. Today I want to talk about some other women who’ve contribute有助于to American history. Some famous and some not so famous. The first women I’d like to talk about is Molly Pitcher .Those of you who are familiar with the name may know her as a hero of the American Revolution革命. But in fact, there never was a woman named Molly Pitcher . Her real name was actually Mary Ludwig .She got the nickname绰号, 昵称was Molly Pitcher for her acts of bravery勇敢; 华丽; 壮观 during the Revolutionary war. As the story goes when Mary’s or Molly’s husband John Hays ,enlisted应征入伍的in the artillery炮队, 炮兵,Mary followed like many other wives did. She helped out doing washing in cooking for soldiers. She was known to be a pretty unusually woman, she smoked a pipe管; 烟斗and chewed咀嚼; 咀嚼物tobacco烟草, 香烟. Anyway in the summer at 1778 at the Battle搏斗; 作战of Monmouth, it was a blistering愤怒的; 猛烈的hot day, maybe a over hundred degrees and 50 soldiers died of thirst during the battle . Molly wasn’t content to stay back at camp instead she ran through gunshots and cannot fire carrying water in picture from a small stream out to the thirsty American soldiers. The relief that she brought with her pictures of water gave her the legendary nickname Molly Pitcher. The story also say that she continued to load and fire her husband’s cannot after he was wounded . They say she was so well liked by the other soldiers that they call her “Sergeant Molly ’In fact, legend has it that George Washington himself give her the special military title. Just finishing my first year of medical school, and wondering if I’d ever can get a chance to use all my new knowledge on the a real live patient.Well, I have a good news for you,you don’t have to wait until your third or forth fourth year
9Cm N'W:C medical school to get some hands-on expierence experience. The dim deam had has advice invited me to here to tell you about university’s roll rural opportunity programe program,if you enroll this programme program, you can have the opportunity this summer after your first year of your medical school, just afend to spend from four to six weeks abserving and assisting a real fersision physician like me in a small role rural community. You won’t have to compete with other students for the time attention and you can see what life of as a country doctor is really like. The programme was designed to encourage medical students like yourselves to consider curial careers and contol in rural communities that is are still under staffed understaffed. It seems the that medical students are free afraid to go into a role rural family practice for two reasons.First, they don’t know much about it. And second, specialists in the cities usually make more money. But, on the up-side,in roll rural practice, doctors can really get to know their patients, and the be respected members of the community.I perticipateed participated in the programe when I it first studied started and spend spent six weeks in the small roll rural town.Let me tell you, it was really great. I got to work with a real patients.I watch the birth of child, assistant assisted an actor victen accident victim, and has a lot lots of really pratical practical hands-on experience. All in one summer, and to my surprizesurprise,I found a that country life has a lot of offer that city life doesn’t, no pollution or traffice jam for instant instance. My experience made me want to work where I’m needed and preciated appreciated. I don’t miss the city at all.

`/@Y+i4s!bv             Welcome to the Yellowstone nation park, before we begin our nature work today , I’d like to give you a short history of our nation park service . The nation park service begin in the late 1800s,A small group of explores had just completed a month-long exploration勘查; 探索of the region区域, 地区, 地方that is Yellowstone. They gathered around a campfire , and after hours of discussion, they decided that they should not claim this land for themselves, They felt it should be accessible易受影响的 to everyone. So they began a campaign活动, 运动to preserve this land for everyone’s enjoyment. Two years later, in the later 19 century an art of congress signed by President Ulysses S. Grant proclaimed the Yellowstone region a pubic park. It was the first nation park in the word. After Yellowstone became a public park. Many other areas of great scenic importance were set aside and in the 1916, the nation public service was established已制定的; 确定的to manage these parks . As a park ranger国有森林护林员. I am an employee of the nation public service. In a nation park ,park rangers on duty at all times to answer questions and help visitors in any difficulty. Nature walks, guided tours ,and campfire营火, 营火会talks are offered by specially training staff 员工members.
