背水一战,也写备考日记。

5月到6月底的托福强化班,8月3号就要考试。
g{BY.Byo 哎,时间好紧啊~~~
PmSg5{.O 本人英语水平确实很差,也就是6级500分的水平。这个……
$PT I:jdk r 上托之前背了一遍半单词,忘的还挺快。现在每天还在继续背中。Iz5Q5}$G#D-|C
计划每天听写,前十天用语音识别的材料,后面就使用场景分类和旧托;
ZWr^*W @n$ob(D 由于本人作文超差(6级作文考了69分——按总分710算的),现在是每隔一天翻译一篇李笑来老师写的185题题库作文,中译英;KK;h3G_
口语也不咋地,跟着秋姐先纠正发音;
'yi6J {2us 每天早上背作文模板,傍晚去学校河边练跟读、发音;CdaSdYd#l-gc

not long ago some of you may have read about a team of the mountain climbing scientists through how(who helped) to reaculculate(recalculate) the elavition(elevation) of the highest mountain in the world—the mountain e. of course the elevation of the mountain s was determined many years ago,using trandional serve(survey) methods.but these scientists wanted to make a more preccess(precise) measurement---using a new method, that take advantage of recent advances in technology. It’s called the global positioning system.this global positioning system uses 24saturlists(satellites) that circle the earth.each of the satellites is consistently(constantly) sending out signals, and each signal contains important information that can be used to determine the longtitude,latitude and the elevation of any point on the earth surface.well in order to use this system to calculate mountain’s elevation,scientists needed to put a reciever to the(on its) summit to receive the signals from the satellites.the problem with this in fact(was that),in the past,the reciever was too heavy for climbers to carry.but now the recievers have been reduced to about the size of(and) weight of handheld telephone.so the climbers were able to take the reciever to the top of e and form there to exccess(access) the satellites system signals that allow them to determine the precise elevation.and it turns out the famous peak is actually a few feet higher than was priversely(previously) thought. That whatis in natural gas.all this makes gas hydrate pretty stranger stuff.if you touch a match to a piece of this ice,it will burst and flame.and when the geologists bringachunk of it up to the service(surface) to study at normal air pressure and temperature.gas hydrate begins to heat(hiss) in bubble.and in less than half an hour,the ice melts and the methane inside escapes into the air. Now as you might guess this can make gas hydrate kind of hard for miners to handle.and then there is a problem of where it is located,in frozen arctic regions or in ocean waters of(off) theland(atlantic)*f)~TY9GH

Thatching is certainly uncommon in the us today.yes,(I guess)that’s why so many of you have come to see the demistration(demonstration).but wasn’t always that way.in the seventeen century,the colonists here thatched their roofs with reeds and straw,just to see a demin(as they had done) in england.after a while,though,they began to replace the thatch with wooden shegoes(shingles),because wood was so plentiful.and eventually,other roof materials like stone,clay tiles,slate,came into use.
)A!H0e9w6MYUl It’s a real shame that most people today don’t realize how strong and long lasting the fechig(a thatched)roof is.in ireland ,where the fench(thatching) is still practiced,the roofs can survive winds of up to 110 miles per hour,that’s because straw and reeds are so flexible,they bend but don’t break in the wind like other materials can..another advantage is that the roof keep the house cool in the summer and warm in the winter.and then of course there is a roof’s long geberty(longevity),the average is 60years but it can last up to 100.with all the reasons to start thatching roofs again,wouldn’t it be wonderful to see this disappearing craft return to popularity.
