refer...as....应该是 refer..to...
based of 应该是 based on
第三段要么have变成had,要么when变成since~
I never remain suspicious to the importance of facts 个人对庄重教的这句一直remain suspicious...= =。

All of this can demonstrate how crucial learning facts it is.

Should students learn ideas and concepts more important than facts, as some people believe here? Or some people oppose here? To be frank, as for me, it is too hasty to say which one is more important. And the importance of them should depend on the different circumstances.
Two distinct curricula exist within students' lives. The obvious one--the overt curriculum--consists of the classes listed on the student's transcript and the knowledge the students acquire in ideas and concepts, The less obvious--but with the equal importance --is the covert curriculum, which is composed of the facts.
Let's talk about ideas and concepts first, learning ideas and concepts has an great influence on the students' further study. To some extent, the basic concepts and ideas is the prerequisite for students as groundwork to skyscrapers(很好的写出了理论是基础,值得学习,我一开始理解成了万丈高楼平地起). Without the basic groundwork, how workers to build a skyscraper. Similarly, a student who has no ideas about concepts , how could(can?) he learn( handle) much more complex knowledge.
Let's assume that a person who has a large scope of ideas and concepts, but he has little practice experience or has never seen the facts about the ideas by his own. He would just simply believe that the ideas and concepts is the truth for ever. Hardly can he have any doubt. ( He would not have any doubt.)In this condition, to come up with some new ideas, and to have a deeper understanding of these ideas would be very difficult for him. Therefore, students should also learn some facts.
Ideas and concepts are the experiences which come from facts. They have been found by some giants in the past. The(A) better way to go toward quikly is stand on the shoulder of giants. With the equal status, in today's rapidly and unpredictably changing world, attempting to learn from the past is no longer the wisest strategy. Students should combine the ideas and concepts what they have learned from books with the facts which they have realized by their own experiments, and then use their own minds and senses to judge. This is the best way to learn, and it's also the most importance of students.
To sum up, learning ideas and concepts carry the same weight as( 比equal to更贴切) learing facts. What we should do is to learn some ideas combined with relative facts. Only in this way, we can have a better understanding about we have learnt.

Newton’s First Law of Motion states that an object in motion tends to stay in motion in the same direction unless acted upon by an external force.
One day I was playing soccer in the yard, and the ball rolled and stopped near a little white dog. This was a big trouble. It turned up its ears, and waved its tail. I had no idea what it was going to do. I got panic and thought it would jump on me. I gave up my soccer ball, turned around and ran away. Now things got worse. The little dog did not give up on me; it balked and ran after me. I kept running and yelled for help. People were telling me to stop running, but I could not hear them.
At this time the owner of the dog had reached us. She picked up the dog, smiled:“It won’t bite you. It likes you.” She put my hand on the dog. It was the first time I got so close to a dog: the eyes were big and friendly; the hair was long and soft. Suddenly I did not fear this little dog anymore.
The fear comes from my mind is just like the external force, it will affected me and change my direction. This event, combined with the Newton's First Law, taught me a good lesson: a fear comes from ignorance, and facing it bravely, instead of avoiding, is the right way to approach it.
Back to the topic, the marriage of concept and fact is the key which unlocks the greatest treasures in the best way!
