【writing】备考以来写的第一篇作文，欢迎大家批评指正

【writing】写了备考以来的第一篇作文，写作部分终于开始了！从题库中随便挑了一道题来写，个人总结出几点不足之处：

1、写作实力很不够，CET之后就再没练过写作，所以感觉写得还很稚嫩；
2、英文打字速度还不行，第一篇作文共用时40分钟；
3、在记事本里面练完复制到word上，共发现十几处的拼写或者大小写等错误；
4、思维不连贯，写的时候出现几次写不下去的感觉。

topic: Some people believe that university students should be required to attend classes. Others believe that going to classes should be optional for students. Which point of view do you agree with? Use specific reasons and details to explain your answer.

my composition:

  It is very important for the college students to learn well in campuses for their future careers. Some of them like to gain knowledge from their teachers' explanations by attending classes, while others intend to learn by themselves.

  Most of the students are used to learning in the classrooms before they enter colleges because they think it will be beneficial to learn with the help of teachers. They are not so sure whether they can learn well if they miss the classes. As a result, they will try their best to catch up with the rhythms of their teachers. They believe what their teachers say and want to take notes in the classes. But after classes, they may easily lose the ability to learn things. They often get tired when studying alone, even feels sleepy. Obviously, they are not so independent.

  However, should we enhance college students’ ability of learning by themselves? Different courses have different learning methods, so are the different students. If a student can learn by his own method and get a good score in exams, why shouldn't we encourage him or her to learn without attending classes? For example, a student has a strong sense of self-discipline when he learns maths, and he makes a very efficient schedule to prepare his study process. Finally, he gets a high mark in the final math's exam. He may be more impressed on the problems tackled by him.

  The problem is that if everyone can choose his course freely, it may be easier for a student to lose study goal. The best measure is to hold both optional courses and compulsory courses for the college students. Schools should make their students learn happily during the campus time and the students should choose their courses according to their interest and strong suit. That can be most helpful for both teaching and learning.
